Haute Cowboy Cooking on the Kern River
When Hollywood was making westerns by the dozen, the setting they chose was often the Kern River Valley. This is cowboy country and the food we serve on trips reflects the region. Gourmet BBQ served with a variety of secret sauces and fresh salsas, scintillating side dishes and magical dutch oven desserts. On this trip, our guides will share their haute western BBQ secrets and invite you to join in the fun. Kern River Pub and Grub Trip
Our celebrated Pub & Grub trip is set for July 10th and will feature outstanding selections from the Kern River Brewery. At camp, we will serve up a pub feast specially made to compliment fine brews. This trip is an celebration of great food, freshly brewed micro beers, and the majesty of the Lower Kern River all rolled into one fabulous experience. July 10-11, $428 per person.

Yoga on the Kern
Local yoga instructor Nancy Ivy joins us on the Lower Kern River on July 15 for two-days of rafting and yoga. Nancy will help us transition from whitewater excitement to the serenity and relaxation of yoga. Her boundless energy is sure to extend to all of those lucky enough to take part in this special trip. We will feature meals that will be delicious yet light at both lunches and at camp. It is sure to please the most ardent yoga enthusiast as well as those experiencing the wonders of yoga for the first time.
