The Kern River has more stretches of exciting and challenging whitewater than any river in America. Rafting the Lower Kern River is the most popular river trip in Southern California. The Upper Kern River, near the historic town of Kernville, is a superb one-day stretch and the Forks of the Kern is a world famous, three-day, Class IV-V run. If you have very young ones in your party or you are short on time, join us for a Lickety Split trips on the Upper Kern.
The best summer getaway anywhere is a Lower Kern rafting trip. On this two-day trip you will run fantastic sections of whitewater, relax at our comfortable campsite, and enjoy scrumptious meals prepared by our crew. We have two-day trips departing daily starting in late May. This is our most popular trip and is ideal for family rafting.
Folks who are new to rafting or have never visited the Kern Valley will find our Area Attractions and Common Questions pages helpful. If you are looking for a longer rafting vacation, our Other Trips page has information on river trips on the Salmon River in Idaho and the Rogue River in Oregon.
